Safeguarding your TNG account and Android device
We will be adding new security measures to the Android version of the TNG App to strengthen the defense against malicious actors trying to take control of your Android device through malware, in order to protect the security of your account. Read through this page to understand the malware scams you need to be wary of, the details of the new security measures, as well as internet security tips.
Your TNG App may be temporarily suspended from use in the following situations:
- These apps have been granted excessive permissions, such as screen overlay, screen sharing, or complete control of your device
Now you can do the following:
Check the permission settings on your device and evaluate whether the permissions granted to the apps are necessary. If you have any doubts, please turn off the overlay settings for these apps or uninstall them.
How do I know if my TNG App has been temporarily suspended?
If you see this notification in the TNG App, it means the new security measures have temporarily suspended your use of the TNG App to protect your safety. To continue using the TNG App, please follow the instructions below.
If my TNG App has been temporarily suspended, what can I do to continue using the TNG App?
You can turn off the overlay/floating window settings for apps from non-official app stores, or uninstall them, in order to continue using the TNG App.
